Day 01

UK - Japan

Flight to Tokyo, Japan’s capital.

Day 02


Depending on the arrival time at Narita International Airport, you will be met by a representative and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the time will be free to relax at your hotel. Overnight in Tokyo

Day 03

Tokyo City Tour

This morning begin with a visit to the Tokyo Tower, the world’s tallest self–supporting steel tower at the height of 333m. Thereafter, you visit Tokyo's oldest Buddhist temple, the Asakusa Kannon. Later you have time to visit one of the first shopping avenues in Japan, the lovely Nakamise Shopping Arcade. You then drive through Ginza, Japan’s most upmarket shopping area where the real estate prices are the most expensive. After lunch, you visit the Meiji Shrine, honouring Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken, and understand the emperor’s role in Japan’s modernization. Later you continue to visit the Imperial Palace and view it from the outside gates. Visit the manmade Island in Tokyo Bay: Odaiba. Thereafter, you will have free time to shop at the 100 Yen shopping bazaar in Shinjuku. Overnight inTokyo.

Day 04

Kamakura - Yokohama - Tokyo

After breakfast, you begin your full–day walking tour. You head towards Kamakura and Hase, a suburb within Kamakura. You visit the statue of the Great Buddha at Kotokuin Temple. The second largest Buddha statue in Japan made in bronze and measures 37 feet dated back to 1252. You'll then visit the attractive Hase Kannon Temple, with its gilt statue of Kannon. Later you let your feet relax as you ride a Rickshaw, a traditional man–pulled carriage to the Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, passing through the Torii gate. Here, you'll take a walk along Wakamiya–Oji, the approach to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine lined with cherry trees. Features of the Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine include a series of red Torii gates, an arched bridge, ponds, a huge gingko tree and the colourful Main Hall standing at the top of 62 stone steps. There after visit the Komachi Shopping Street and its art and craft shops. After Lunch Proceed to Yokohama: Sister city of Mumbai. You visit China Town and walk into Yamashita Park. In the park you can see Indian Water fountain and a statue of a girl with Indian Shoes, water guardian statue and many more exciting statues. Later return back to Tokyo.

Day 05

Mt Fuji - Hakone

After breakfast you drive on to volcanic area of Hakone, Owakudani, You take a one stop cruise on Lake Ashi. The lake is known for its views of Mt. Fuji and its numerous hot springs. After Japanese lunch you proceed to Mt Fuji. Your coach takes you till the 5th Station, the highest point on road depending on the weather conditions. Mt Fiji is Japans highest mountain at 3776 meters, a perfectly shaped volcano that has been worshiped as a sacred mountain and experienced big popularity among artists and common people. Overnight in Hakone region.

Day 06

Shizuoka - Toyota - Nagoya

Today you visit Shizuoka Green Tea Plantation. Green tea plantations date back to 1241, when a monk named Shoichi Kokushi returned from Sung China to his native province of Shizuoka with green tea seeds, which were then planted in this area. If time permits you can participate in the picking of tea leaves. After lunch you head towards Nagoya. First stop is visiting the Nagoya Toyota Showroom. Toyota, Japans leading car manufacturer. Visit also includes the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology. Overnight in Nagoya.

Day 07

Bullet train - Hiroshima

This morning enjoy an experience on the fastest train network of Japan. You take a bullet train from Nagoya to Hiroshima. On arrival you will have Indian lunch. After lunch you have a city tour of Hiroshima. Visit the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park was built to commemorate the dropping of the atomic bomb over Hiroshima on August 6, 1945 and to promote a peaceful world. Later visit the Peace Memorial Museum graphically displaying the atomic bomb's horrible effects on the city and its inhabitants. Finally visit the Atomic Bomb Dome is one of the few buildings around the explosion's epicentre that partially survived the blast and the city's only remaining bomb damaged building.

Day 08

Miyajima Island - Hiroshima

This morning you visit the island of Miyajima. Miyajima is famous for its Itsukushima Jinja Shrine and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and known worldwide for its red “floating” tori gate that appears to be standing in the sea during high tide. After lunch, free time for shopping in Hiroshima.

Day 09

Hiroshima - Bullet train - Kyoto – Osaka

This morning take a bullet train from Hiroshima to Kyoto. On arrival you first visit Kiyomizu temple. One of Japan's most popular temples, Kiyomizudera, ("Pure Water Temple") was founded in 780 AD and still functions as a temple associated with the Hosso sect of Japanese Buddhism. After lunch, visit the Kinkakuji temple (Golden Pavilion), a temple dedicated to the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy, Kannon. Later proceed to view the Nishijin Kimono Show. Continue towards Osaka for overnight.

Day 10

Nara - Osaka - Kansai

Today after breakfast you head to Nara Dear Park. Large temple roofs and lovely park with many deer grazeing along the spacious lawns and frolic on the grass. Inside the park area is the Todai–ji Temple, Kofuku–ji Temple, Kasuga–taisha Shrine and many other historic structures that represent the glory of the city over many centuries. Small streams and ponds add charm to the scenery. Later visit the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, one of the largest aquariums in the world; this aquarium is home to 580 species and 30000 Marine animals from Pacific Rim. You continue your tour to visit the Osaka Castle, one of the most important landmark and symbol of Osaka. Later you get free time shopping on the Shinsaibashi Shopping Street. After dinner you are transferred to Kansai for our overnight stay.

Day 11

Japan - UK

The day is at leisure until the time for transfer to the airport for your return flight.
